All about the Client Wardrobe

Updated: Mar 24

If I’m being honest, one of the most stressful parts of having my family photographed isn’t choosing a photographer, or mapping out nap schedules; the most challenging part is actually figuring out what my family will wear. I try to plan ahead of time… I really do, but inevitably when it comes down to the wire I usually don’t have everything together. THIS is the reason why I opted to offer a client wardrobe in my studio.

Do you love shopping with your kids in tow? How about when you are 9 months pregnant? Or a few days postpartum? Do you love scrolling online stores in hopes that something you ordered will 1. Arrive in time and 2. Actually fit? I didn’t think so.

My heart for you, mama, is that there would be nothing hindering you from capturing these memories with your little ones. So, the excuse of not knowing what to wear or wanting to coordinate outfits is no longer a limitation! You are not confined to the wardrobe, but it is absolutely a tool accessible to all my clients if they would like help.

Every piece in the wardrobe is intentionally curated with 3 things in mind. 1. Will it photograph well? 2. Will it fit moms of all shapes and sizes and styles (especially maternity/postpartum)? and 3. Will it be a timeless look as trends come and go?

From petite to plus size mamas and dads, babies newborn through children size 5, the whole family is taken care of! The wardrobe consists of over 75 dresses for mamas alone!

The Process

Before your session I will send over several wardrobe options for your family based on the sizes you provide me with. You can then get a visual of how things will look, and can even coordinate any pieces at home you might want to wear. When you arrive the outfits are cleaned, steamed and ready for you to try on. Once you find an outfit you absolutely love, we begin the session!
