Behind the Scenes Look at 2018

Well, it’s that time of year! Behind the Scenes 2018! Let’s dive right in and give you a peek at what it’s like on the other side of the camera!

ree

That's me...always willing to stand on chairs, or scaling walls for the perfect shot!

ree

This BTS is one of my favorites from the year... We found a these pretty trees by a 3 way stop and had to swing by for some photos! The ambulance in the background just makes this one!

ree

Love giving my clients a glimpse behind the camera to show them how great they are doing!

ree

When your reflector is blocking your shadow but also causing your hair to experience some crazy static!

ree

I'm not JUST a photographer on a wedding day... I play many many rolls such as, bride-hider, boutonnière pinner, veil fluffler, hair fixer, tear (and sometimes sweat) dabber, and so much more.

ree

This poor brides shoe broke right before the wedding so I was trying everything to safety pin the strap back into place!

ree

That stance tho..... 90% of my BTW I have this stance

ree

When nobody knows how to fix a corset dress I come to the rescue.

ree

Always fluffing, always pinning,

ree

and explaining to the groomsmen how to stand.

ree

Getting that perfect ring shot takes steady fingers (and a little dental floss!)

ree

That stance again...

ree

and forever fixing floppy boutonnieres

ree

And sometimes on really chill projects this little dude piggy backs along... Peek at those tiny fingers and toes.

ree

But all in all, none of this would be possible without the best mentors, friends, and interns in the world. Jess is not only the perfect person to test shoot sparkler send offs with.. but she has been a true heaven sent angel in my business. I have no idea where I would be today as a photographer without her!

It is a huge bonus when old #HelloJudeInterns like Lindsey come back and second shoot with me!!! And these two girls on the right were a HUGE blessing in 2018 as well. After having Knox and going through maternity leave at the end of 2017, I was able to come back in January refreshed, rested (as much as possible with a newborn), and ready to work because these two willingly took care of Hello Jude while I was gone. Amanda and Andi, you are truly incredible women and I cannot thank you enough for all you did for HJ this past year! You da real MVPs.

So excited to serve more families and couples this year and continue to learn and grow! Want to be part of the Hello Jude team this year and take part in the HJ Internship Experience? Check out the blog HERE to learn more about the opportunity and apply to learn alongside me!
