The Wonder Years Collection is my absolute favorite way to capture a baby. This collection is designed to highlight the most pivotal milestones in their first year and create beautiful artwork that tells the story of their development.
One of my favorite things about working with new parents is the excitement they have. Their baby has just been born and it’s a whole new world for them. They also quickly realize just how fast their little one is changing and growing.
There are so many different milestones your baby experiences during the first 365 days of life and they develop so much. Their features continue to change, their personality begins to emerge and their skills continue to grow. It is so important to capture that season!
The Phelps Family
One of the favorite parts of my job is to have the opportunity to capture families in all of their life stages. Lauren and Austin are no exception to that! I first met Lauren and Austin back in 2019 when they submitted their love story into a wedding day giveaway. After being selected as the winner for their wedding day coverage, I had the opportunity to capture their engagement session at Berry College earlier that year (you can check out more HERE) and their wedding at The Atrium in Norcross (you can check out more HERE). Lauren and Austin are easily some of the most photogenic people I have ever met! Their chemistry is indescribable and watching their family grow has been such a joy.
Baby Boy Grayson
The Phelps added a little boy into their family November 1, 2020 at 12:05pm. Grayson weighed 7 pounds and was 20” long. “Big Brother” Cooper was anxiously awaiting his arrival from the very beginning. I cannot wait to see their bond grow as Grayson grows. The details in Grayson’s nursery were incredible. Every aspect was thought out and executed beautifully- it was like walking into a magazine. I knew that I wanted his nursery to be the center of the session, and the perfect lighting reaffirmed that idea.
Grayson’s Milestones
I absolutely love sitter sessions- I think they are one of my favorite milestones to celebrate and capture. There is so much personality and curiosity that comes with this age. During Grayson’s session, his pup brother Cooper also joined once again, and their images together are some of my all time favorites.
Grayson’s First Birthday Session
It was, and still is, hard to believe Grayson is already ONE. We celebrated his birthday with an outdoor family session and a cake smash. The fall leaves at the park made the perfect setting for the Fall baby’s birthday session.
This year with the Phelps family has been such a joy. I have loved watching Grayson grow and develop and have equally loved witnessing Lauren and Austin grow as parents. Happy Birthday, Grayson!
