Scriptures + Truths for Mamas

There was a season in my life that felt so heavy I couldn’t physically open my Bible. I remember sitting at a Bible study and confessing to my friends that I hadn’t read Scripture in months and that I felt like I couldn’t. We had just walked through our third miscarriage and I was too discouraged and angry to open my Bible. My friends tended to me and read Scripture over me in a way that I will never forget. The truths were healing to me and the biggest encouragement I needed in that season.

Maybe you find yourself in a season where you are angry or frustrated, or anxious or worried. Or, maybe you are in a season of joy and fulfillment. Whether you open your Bible regularly, or cannot remember the last time its pages were turned. I pray that these verses would be an encouragement to you.

Consider this me reading Scripture over you today much like my friends did over me years ago.
