Studio Milestone Session | Deacon’s First Birthday

It is always a little bittersweet when babies turn one. It’s a closing of one chapter and the start of a whole new adventure. I feel those same bittersweet feelings when babies close out their first year collection in the studio. These first year collection babies (also know as Wonder Year Babies) visit me to capture their newborn session, six-month session, and then their first birthday.

I specifically remember Deacon’s newborn session. He was this precious little guy with the brightest eyes and the chubbiest little cheeks. You can see more of that session here.

Then when he visited the studio for his half birthday, those cheeks somehow seemed to quadruple in size and his eyes were still as bright as ever. You can see more of that session here.

As he grew, his sweet little personality began to develop, and at his first birthday session I really got to see it shine through.

I cannot wait to continue to watch him grow and capture all of his other milestones!
