Hello Summer | Weisser Family Spring Update

I can hardly believe we are already into the first few days of June! It feels like this summer was quite a whirlwind and lots of activities for our family. Since I haven't done an update since February, consider this the Weisser Spring Update.

Things we did this Spring

  • Nate and the boys went on a hike to an old airplane crash site

  • I helped our Church lead a women's conference for the community!

  • Nate's parents traveled for a short visit (first time we have seen them since 2019)

  • I ran my first 5k since becoming a mom

  • The kids and I visited my family in Florida for Spring Break- Nate was away on tornado relief work so we missed him!

  • Actually ran into some of our good friends and the beach and were able to spend a few days playing with them

  • I photographed 3 different schools photos (two of my kids schools) which is always such a joy.

  • Muffins with Mom at Jude's School and Field Trips with Knox

  • Field Day at Judes School

  • Lots of house projects

  • Jude started Hapkido

  • Knox graduated Preschool so I treated the boys to a movie night to see the new Mario Brothers

  • Our cat had 6 kittens! (She waited until Nate was out of town to make that happen)

  • Jude Finished 1st grade with Honors Day at school

  • We celebrated the last week of school with friends

  • We went camping (the first time as a family of 6) for Memorial Day weekend

  • And saw Hot Air Balloons in Helen

  • Not to mention all the of Spring family sessions and newborns I photographed the last few months.

Summer Goals

  • Continue to try to actually use my camera to take photos of the kids

  • Practice social media free summer

  • Cook and eat 3 meals a day

  • Navigate motherhood and working with all 4 kids home for the summer

  • Read 2 books

  • Continue to blog 3x/week and create a new youtube video at least 2x/month

  • Plan activities for our family to enjoy together- go on more hikes, camping trips, fishing, etc.

  • Start and end Q3 strong!
