The sweetest squishiest little girl made a visit to the studio around the holidays. This incredible family won a Wonder Year Collection during my annual birthday giveaway series and I was so excited to finally meet them and their little girl.
Mom chose a new dress I just added to the wardrobe that has the most delicate lace and peek-a-boo back. The soft pink color was perfect for a little girl’s newborn session. Baby girl Marley was such a sport during her session. Although she wasn’t a big fan of being swaddled at first, she eventually settled and took a nice long nap for the rest of the session. One thing I tell families when they come into the studio for a newborn session is to release expectations of perfection. Babies spit up, and poop, and cry, and get hungry- it is all part of the newborn life. My job is to create a stress-free environment and capture beautiful images even in the messiness of the newborn phase.
