There is something so special about the bond between brothers- especially when there are a few years between them. I've noticed after photographing hundreds of families, that some of the strongest bonds are between boys 3-7 years apart. Big brother Houston was no exception to this! From the moment their family came into the studio he was so interested in what I was doing to baby brother. During the entire session he kept asking if it was his turn to hold baby Taten and he started at him with such sweet admiration. The Smith family chose a darker fall color scheme for their session with mama and baby Taten contrasting in white.
Since Taten was an IVF baby, mama wanted to create an image that paid tribute to all that they went through to bring him earthside. I love how special these photos are and how they will always be a reminder of what a blessing his life is.
